  • For my wedding cake, do I have to get fondant icing to get a smooth and sleek look?

No! Contrary to popular belief, it is not necessary to cover a cake in fondant to achieve a smooth, finished look. Our decorators are trained in the art of flat icing, which can be achieved with our buttercream and mousse frostings. In fact, we prefer to decorate cakes with buttercream frosting rather than fondant as fondant is far more expensive to the customer and it isn’t nearly as tasty as traditional frosting.

  • What is your Bridal Buttercream?

Our Bridal Buttercream is a mixture of our traditional Buttercream and our Vanilla Mousse. The result is a lighter and slightly less sweet version of our traditional Buttercream.

  • What is the cost, per serving, for a wedding cake?

Our wedding cakes start at $4.75 per serving. This price includes vanilla, chocolate, lemon or almond cake AND a wide variety of standard fillings. This price also includes a wide variety of standard designs.

We also offer premium cake flavors (marble, carrot, banana, red velvet, confetti, pineapple, and chocolate chip) and premium filling flavors at an additional charge. That being said, we can work with any budget! More on that below.

  • I am on a tight budget for my wedding cake. What can you offer me?

There are a number of options for the price-conscious couple! One way to keep costs down is to purchase a small tiered cake to cut, and have sheet cakes OR round cakes in the kitchen for your guests. Another option is to opt for cupcakes instead of a cake. Our wedding cupcakes start at $2.75 per cupcake. There is a small additional set-up fee.

  • Do you offer wedding cake tastings?

We sure do! We love meeting with brides and grooms to discuss their vision for their cake. We offer mini tasting cakes that you are welcome to pair with two fillings and two frostings. Two isn’t enough? No problem - you are welcome to try up to four mini cakes. They are $6.99 each. You will be credited up to $14 for the tasting cakes when you sign your wedding contract.

  • My fiance and I aren’t “cake people”. What else do you offer for wedding desserts?

We offer a variety of desserts besides cake! We offer assorted homemade cookie trays, petite pastry trays, cannolis, pies, and cheesecakes. If this is something you are interested in, simply mention your vision when you schedule your tasting.

  • Do you only offer wedding cakes?

No, we truly do it all! We offer bridal and baby shower cakes, birthday cakes, groom’s cakes, engagement cakes, etc. We can do tiered cakes, carved cakes, drawing cakes, you name it! We ask for at least a week’s notice on all specialty cakes, as we do book up rather quickly.

  • Do you deliver wedding cakes?

We certainly do! We will deliver to any venue in the Lehigh Valley. We will not, however, deliver a wedding cake that is more than 45 minutes away.

  • Do you offer naked cakes?

We will not do a true naked cake (no frosting on the outside at all). Wedding cakes are delivered hours before your reception begins. Due to this, we are concerned that the cake will dry out if there is no icing covering the outside. That being said, we do offer semi-naked cakes. This means that the cake will have a thin layer of icing on the outside, with some cake showing through. This still gives you the rustic look, while protecting the cake.

  • Do you decorate your cakes with fresh flowers?

No, we do not. We do not suggest decorating with fresh flowers because they often contain pesticides and toxins that are harmful to consume. Because of this, we will not place fresh flowers on a wedding cake. We suggest decorating your wedding cake with our hand-formed sugarpaste flowers.

  • Is your Buttercream homemade?

Yes, absolutely! We do not get our buttercream from a supplier, but rather, we make it in our bakery with real butter.
