Joann Kern, Co-Owner
With a passion for baking and a heart for people, Joann couldn't imagine spending her time anywhere else. When you visit Louie's, you will likely find her making homemade pies, cooking delicious meals or chit chatting with our regulars - all while graciously handling the administrative duties that keep the bakery running smoothly.
Jess Kern, Co-Owner
As a recent graduate from Messiah College, Jess considers herself tremendously blessed for the opportunity to combine her passions for baking and marketing. At Louie's, Jess spends most her time baking and cake decorating as well as heading up the bakery's marketing initiatives, which include a combination of online and traditional mediums.
Cheryl Bender, Lead Cake Artist
With more than 35 years of cake decorating experience, Cheryl acts as the lead cake artist at Louie's. She has designed beautiful cakes for various occasions including weddings, parties, showers, anniversaries and more. With experience in buttercream, fondant, air brushing, and more, Cheryl is truly an artist at heart. She loves the opportunity to sit down with customers and tailor each cake to their unique personality and taste. In addition to cake decorating, Cheryl also spends a lot of her time baking cakes and pastries.
Sandy Fair, Cashier, Cook/Baker
At Louie's, Sandy certainly wears many different hats. When she's not baking her homemade apple dumplings, cutout cookies and pies, she can be found cooking for our brunch crowd. Her knack for cooking and baking and her warm personality make Sandy a very special part of the Louie's team.
Brenda Clouser, Cashier
When you stop by the bakery, you will likely see Brenda! She spends most of her time helping customers who stop by for a sweet treat. In addition, she also assists in making some of our favorite deli dishes. Her experience and kind personality make her an important part of the Louie's team.
